At the keynote this morning at MMS 2009 it was announced that OpsMgr 2007 R2 will be released in 30 days!

OpsMgr 2007 R2 GA

Operations Manager 2007 R2 is now available through the MVLS website.  It does not seem to be available via MSDN at the moment.
